Use the 21 pins of the BBC micro: bit and easily connect additional components using this BBC micro: bit prototyping system.

This BBC micro: bit prototyping system is a great way to start making circuits and experimenting without the need to solder.

This prototyping system uses the Edge Connector bypass board specifically designed for the BBC micro:bit which gives full access to the pins on the bottom of the BBC micro:bit. The BBC micro:bit pins are spread across a row of pins, with the SCL and SDA pins separated on the edge of the board for easy identification. The PCB includes a prototyping area with 3V, 0V and unconnected lines that can be soldered. This allows easy connection of switches, sensors and pull-up or pull-down resistors, etc.

This prototyping system is used in conjunction with a small prototype board. This makes it easy to connect additional components using the supplied jumper wires. No soldering required.
