IMPORTANT: This module has no on-board voltage regulation, so a clean and regulated 1.8 to 3.6 V supply is required. If you want to connect it to your microcontroller, you must make sure that it operates between 1.8 and 3.6 V on the serial/I2C port, otherwise you risk damaging this module. The Arduinos/PC Serial usually operate at 5V, so you will need a voltage converter.
There is no provision for a battery backup (V_BCKUP is closely related to VCC).
