BME680 Breakout - Temperature, pressure, humidity and air quality sensor
The BME680 sensor allows you to measure temperature, pressure, humidity and indoor air quality, and is compatible with Raspberry Pi and Arduino!
You can use it to monitor all aspects of your indoor environment. Its gas resistances will react to changes in volatile organic compounds and can be combined with humidity data to give a measure of indoor air quality.
Want to know if there is adequate ventilation in your room, workshop or workplace? Set up a BME680 on a Pi Zero W and have it log the sensors to a file or stream live data to a web service like adafruit.io or freeboard.io.
Kit includes:
- BME680 breakout
- 1x5 male header
- 1x5 right angle female header
This breakout board has been designed so that you can solder the female header and insert it directly on the GPIO of your Raspberry Pi (pins 1, 3, 5, 6, 9). The female header also has the advantage of positioning the output of the Pi's CPU in such a way as to minimize heat dissipation.
Protected against polarity reversal.
In addition to the C library provided by Bosch, a Python library has been implemented to facilitate the combination with other boards.
