This sophisticated optical flow sensor detects the movement of surfaces in front of it, from ~ 80 mm to infinity!
The PMW3901 is a clever little sensor that uses a low-resolution camera and smart algorithms to detect the motion of surfaces. A great use for this is to detect and correct the drift of a drone by looking for the x/y movement of the ground below.
