Increase the capabilities of your Raspberry Pi
The original Raspberry Pi has only one UART port with 1 channel. With this serial extension, you have a UART with two channels as well as 8 GPIOs programmable via I2C. The LEDs integrated in the extension allow you to monitor the UART operating status.
