The MCP3008 is a 10-bit successive approximation analog-to-digital converter with an integrated sample-and-hold circuit. It is programmable to provide four pairs of pseudo-differential inputs or eight single-ended inputs.

Differential non-linearity (DNL) and integral non-linearity (INL) specified at ±1 LSB. Communication with peripherals is performed using a simple serial interface compatible with the SPI protocol.
