The Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 has finally hit the market, succeeding the highly popular 7-inch touchscreen. Compared to the first version, this new screen changes from a landscape resolution of 800 x 480 to a portrait resolution of 720 x 1280. In addition, the physical dimensions have been slightly adjusted from 192.96mm x 110.76mm to 189.32mm x 120.24mm. Protections dedicated to the first Touch Display version are therefore not compatible.
