Nokia 5110 LCD display for Arduino

The Nokia 5110 is a basic graphical LCD display for many applications. It uses the PCD8544 controller, which is the same used in the Nokia 3310 LCD. All the functions needed for the display are provided in a single chip, including the on-chip generation of the LCD, power supply and bias voltages, resulting in minimal external components and low power consumption.
The four corners all have a positioning hole, providing upper and lower ports on both rows at the same time, the arrangement is as follows:
1 RST - Reset
2 CE - CS
3 DC - Select data/instructions
4 DIN - Serial data line
5 CLK - Serial clock line
6 VCC - Power input (3.3V and 5V have been tested ok)
7 BL - backlight control terminal
8 GND - ground wire
The interface is a serial SPI interface.
