MI:power board for micro:bit V1 and V2
The BBC MI: bit power board is an elegant way to power your BBC: bit microphone from a 3V button cell. A piezo buzzer is integrated and a battery is included.
The MI: power board for the BBC micro: bit brings real portability to your portable projects. The sleek, lightweight board is designed to fit the BBC: bit microphone perfectly and features an integrated buzzer and 3V battery holder.
Once assembled, the MI: power board is connected directly to the 3V, GND and P0 connections on the micro: bit. The 3V and GND connections power the micro: bit and the built-in buzzer is connected to P0, which is the default output pin when using the audio functions in the Block Editor software.
The board features an easy-to-reach on/off switch, making it easier to turn a project on and off, rather than having to disconnect power from the micro: bit BBC.
Once the unit is assembled and attached to the BBC micro-bit, the mechanical fasteners prevent the battery from being removed unless a screwdriver is used, so no matter how it is used, the battery will remain safely in place.
Spacers, fasteners and battery are included.
