Python 3 - Language fundamentals
The first part of the book details the advantages of Python 3 to meet the needs of companies in any IT field.
The second part is a guide for beginners, whether in Python or in development in general. It allows to gently approach the key concepts around projects serving as a red thread and proposes the realization of some exercises.
The third part deals with the fundamentals of the language: the concepts are presented progressively with code examples that illustrate each point. The author wanted the reader to reach a real autonomy in his learning, with for each notion presented two distinct objectives: to allow the one who does not know the notion to appropriate it correctly, in particular by respecting its role, and to allow the one who knows it to find original angles of attack to go as far as possible in its exploitation.
The fourth part allows to see how to use Python 3 to solve business problems and thus, how to use everything around Python 3 (protocols, servers, images, ...). In this part, the thread is the functionality and not the module; each chapter focuses on how to exploit a functionality by using one or more modules and presents a methodology, but is not focused on an anatomical description of the modules themselves. The modules covered in this part are those that have been ported to Python 3 as well as features that are now mature for this latest version of the language.
Finally, the last part of the book is a vast tutorial that allows to put into practice, in a professional context, everything that has been seen before by creating an application that covers all the current domains of development(data, Web with Pyramid, graphical interface with Gtk, system scripting...) and thus to present efficient development solutions using Python 3
