Scratch and Raspberry Pi - Authors : Sarah LACAZE François MOCQ
It allows an educational discovery ofelectronics and robotics and is intended for anyone who wants to create easily their first maker projectsprojects, whether in a family or school setting. No prerequisite is necessary, except to know how to use the basic features of a computer.
After a presentation of the nanocomputer Raspberry Pi and Scratcha visual programming language based on blocks, the authors exploit the simple and intuitive side of Scratch to introduce, through the creation of a video game, the concepts specific to any programming language that are the variablesvariables, the loops or the procedures. The reader then becomes familiar with the electronic components (sensors and actuators)and realizes his first circuits and creates his first programs.
The rest of the book is devoted to the step-by-step description of projects. More and more complex, these projects invite the reader to combine various components (LED, button, motor) (LED, button, motor) to create, among others, interactive interactive gamesto make a candy dispenser or create a video game controller. The many examples and projects presented in this book are intended tohelp the reader to imagine his own projects.
